Ingrown hair
If an epilator is used on dry skin, an ingrown hair may be formed, which can be painful to remove. So it is important to ensure that the skin is moisturised and clean before using the epilator.
Ingrown hairs are also sometimes formed if threading is used to remove the unwanted hair.
