Philips Satinelle Epilator HP 6609 is more compact compared to other epilators, but has a few design flaws which detract from its performance. When connected to 230 V power supply through a Belkin surge suppressor, it does not work at all, but functions intermittently when connected directly to the mains supply or through a GM power guard. Though it costs about Rs 1000 ($25) more than the Braun Silk Epil 3170, its performance is not as good.
